Portland Children's Levy, hurt by economy, makes cuts to nonprofits: Portland City Hall roundup
On Monday, the levy's five-person allocation committee met at Portland City Hall to start cutting $3.7 million from 2012-13 grants. Reductions ranged from 3 to 40 percent. Some grants were discontinued entirely, said Mary Gay Broderick, outreach director.
