Storm Large and the Candidates Gone Wild
Which Oregonian has won the most votes so far this year?
That's easy: Storm Large. She may not have won the rock reality show Supernova, but her star is rocketing up the charts fast.
Tonight, she'll be joining a raft of candidates for governor and ballot measure spokesmodels onstage at Candidates Gone Wild - the lively, hilarious, and often-informative political event of the biennium. (Storm will be reading, er performing, the winning entries in the CGW political limerick contest.)
Organized by Willamette Week and the Bus Project, CGW is tonight at 8 p.m. More info here, including where to get advance tickets (so you're not left standing outside in the rain.)

Any idea what ticket sales are at right now? I haven't been able to get anywhere to snag one, and unlike my Communique days I can't just snag press creds instead. Those I've been to seem pretty packed, so it's possible that these DO sell out. Trying to determine if it's worth trying to go down there after work, or if it would be a wasted trip.

b!x--I can confirm that Bus Project still has tickets today, on SE 2nd street (their HQ). Go, go go!

Yes, well, that's not an option since it'd mean too much time away from work. Someone out there is going to have to snag me one and make me pay them for it later. ;)
