DNC's Jason Leon to assist at the DPO
It's a time of transition at the Democratic Party of Oregon. The new leadership team is in place - and executive director Neel Pender has left for his new gig. (And there's a new website, too!)
To help the leadership team manage the transition, DNC Chairman Howard Dean has detailed Jason Leon out to serve as interim executive director for the DPO. He starts today.
Jason is an Oregonian and a deputy political director for the DNC, where he manages the "50 State Strategy". Previously, he worked for Congresswoman Darlene Hooley and for Oregon AFSCME. In 2004, he was the political director for the Kerry/Edwards coordinated campaign in Oregon.
Welcome home, Jason.
