Oregon, the Land of Id?

The Senate Finance and Revenue Committee today sent to the floor a bill (an amended version of SB 883, link to amendment not available yet) giving the wealthiest Oregonians preferential treatment with their taxes on income from capital gains. It's part of the corporate lobbyists' bad kicker deal for the middle class.
This morning, papers throughout the State had this appropriate and prescient comic.
