Sign the petition: Support the "lock box" for school dollars

Oregon has some of the largest class sizes in the country. Overcrowded classrooms make it much more difficult for Oregon’s children to learn and for teachers to teach. The future of our state depends upon the success of our schools.

Right now, hundreds of millions of dollars that should be going to schools are instead flowing to special interests. Sign the petition to ask the Oregon Legislature to support HB 4141, to send money identified for schools, to schools.

Around the state, local government entities are giving away $379 million that belong to schools , often without any input from schools districts. These tax subsidies are often in the form of big property tax giveaways to corporations.

Sign the petition NOW and tell the Oregon Legislature to support HB 4141 to send more money to Oregon’s classrooms.
