The Republican Party in southwest Oregon had become the Tea Party. Art Robinson is what the Republican party had turned into -- a dangerous mix of anger, paranoia, and a sense of entitlement. He continues to be a featured speaker at Republican Party and Tea Party events and has vowed to run again against Peter DeFazio in 2012. We can expect to hear a lot more from the good Dr. Robinson.

Also interesting is that there is no statement from any of the three children. I wonder if the reporter actually tried to talk to them? Would they agree with their father or would they imply he was nuts?
