Tribune Poll: "Undecided" leads in Sec. of State and Treasurer races
In the races for Treasurer and Secretary of State, Democrats Ben Westlund and Kate Brown are leading - though more voters are undecided than have decided to vote for any candidate, according to a recent poll for the Portland Tribune.
In the Secretary of State race:
Brown, a state senator from Portland, leads former TV newsman Rick Dancer, a Republican from Springfield, by 33-25 percent among registered voters, according to a poll conducted by Davis, Hibbitts & Midghall Inc. A huge segment of voters, 38 percent, was undecided, suggesting the race could shift.
In the Treasurer race:
Westlund, a state senator from Tumalo, outside Bend, leads Republican Allen Alley of Lake Oswego by a 34-22 percent margin, according to the Tribune/Fox 12 poll. Alley is former deputy chief of staff to Democratic Gov. Ted Kulongoski and a former chief executive officer of Pixelworks, a Tualatin computer chipmaker. A whopping 40 percent of voters are undecided in the treasurer’s race.

After seeing what goes on with Merkley/Smith, it doesn't suprise me.

Leave the races blank and vote NO on every measure. Clean, simple, and fast. Can't wait to get this all over with anyway.
